About this scholarship

Delaware high school seniors who reside in the state, are U.S. residents, hold a 3.0 GPA, score at least 1290 on the SAT (or ACT equivalent), complete a FAFSA, and plan to attend the University of Delaware full time may apply for the B. Bradford Barnes Memorial Scholarship.

One full-tuition award covers required fees, room, board, and books. The scholarship is renewable for up to three additional years with a cumulative 3.0 GPA.

The Delaware Higher Education Office administers this state-sponsored award.
