B&W Y-12 Scholarship Fund

Graduating high school seniors in Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Claiborne, Cocke, Knox, Loudon, Morgan, Roane, or Sevier counties in Tennessee who plan full-time science or pre-engineering study at Maryville College, Pellissippi State, Roane State, Tennessee Tech, UT Knoxville, or Walters State may apply. Applicants need a 3.0 or higher GPA, U.S. citizenship or permanent residency, and demonstrated financial need. Eligible majors include physics, chemistry, pre-engineering, biomedical technology, or environmental science (not health-care professional tracks).

The award is $1,500.

Apply through the East Tennessee Foundation Common Application between December 15 and March 15.
