About this scholarship

Students enrolled in or recently graduated (within one year) from an AVMA-accredited veterinary or medical technology program who have an active interest in zoo veterinary medicine may apply.

The winner presents at the Association of Zoo Veterinary Technicians annual conference. Expenses are reimbursed up to $2,000, plus a $50 grant.

Submit an abstract by the March deadline, then follow the posted draft deadlines before the conference presentation.
