About this scholarship

U.S. citizens at least 18 years old pursuing a four-year bachelor's in welding engineering or welding engineering technology at a U.S. college may apply through the AWS Foundation. Priority goes to welding engineering majors and to students in Ohio or Arizona. You need a 2.5 GPA, financial need documentation, two references, and official transcripts.

One $3,500 award is paid directly to the student's school. Prior recipients may reapply for up to four years.
