AWMA: AMS Scholarship Program

High school seniors or undergraduates who live in western Pennsylvania or West Virginia and plan careers in environmental science, environmental engineering, or environmental law may apply. You need a 3.0 GPA and must attend a college in the section's service area, though members' children may study elsewhere.

Award amounts vary. The Allegheny Mountain Section of the Air and Waste Management Association offers one or more undergraduate scholarships annually.

Complete and postmark your application by the posted deadline. The section promotes understanding of air pollution and waste management problems in its region.
