About this scholarship

Open to students currently enrolled, entering as 1Ls, or recently graduated from an accredited Texas law school who have demonstrated commitment to the LGBTQ+ community or LGBTQ+ legal issues. Financial need is considered.

Individual awards may range up to $5,000 from the Austin Bar Foundation (with the Austin LGBT Bar Association).

Submit a resume, transcript or acceptance letter, optional financial-need statement, and an essay on whether immutable characteristics should be considered by decision-makers.
