About this scholarship
LGBTQI students or students with an LGBTQI parent who have been Oregon or southwest Washington residents for at least one year and will pursue accredited post-secondary undergraduate education may apply.
Award amounts vary with available funding. Submit a complete application packet postmarked by April 1; finalists are interviewed by a Peacock Productions committee.
The fund, named for Audria M. Edwards, has supported this community since 1987.

- Two letters of recommendation from a teacher, instructor, mentor, guidance counselor, supervisor, or other individual who can comment on academic abilities, community involvement, potential for succes
- Most recent academic transcript (copies of prior transcripts optional)
- Complete the multi-page application form (personal info, educational history, community/work experience, educational plan, detailed budget of expenses and income)
- Read and sign the affidavit statement
- Mail completed packet postmarked on or before April 1 to Audria M. Edwards Scholarship Fund, PO Box 16337, Portland, OR 97292; incomplete or late packets are not reviewed
- Eligibility: pursuing post-secondary undergraduate education at an accredited institution in the coming year; LGBTQI or have an LGBTQI parent; resided at least one year in Oregon or in Clark, Cowlitz,
- If selected as a finalist, participate in an interview with the Review Committee
- Complete application packet must be mailed and postmarked by the deadline; incomplete or late packets are not reviewed.
- Finalists must participate in an interview with the Peacock Productions review committee.
