About this scholarship
Ashtabula County residents enrolled in agriculture, natural resources, family and consumer sciences, environmental sciences, or a degree supported by an agricultural background or three years of 4-H or FFA may apply.
One award of up to $3,000 is made annually for students attending an accredited four-year college or two-year technical school. Submit applications by April 15.
The fund was founded in 1952 by county leaders to promote interest in agricultural and related fields of study.

- Official transcripts of credits earned (HS seniors: officially stamped HS transcript plus any college-course transcripts; college students: current college transcript)
- Two current letters of recommendation (one must be from a high school or college instructor; the other from someone who knows you well); past letters not accepted
- One head-and-shoulder photo (passport/driver-license style, no selfies) for publicity use
- Completed application pages 1-5 (personal info, family/farm income, 4-H/FFA involvement, activities list)
