About this scholarship

Full-time undergraduate horticulture majors taking 10 or more credit hours at a four-year institution may apply for the ASHS Scholars Award when nominated by their department chair (one nominee per department). ASHS membership is required.

Two $1,500 awards recognize scholastic achievement, horticulture leadership and research, and community service.

The application requires a 250 to 500 word essay, a resume, and three references.
