ASHRAE High School Senior Scholarships

ASHRAE awards four one-year $3,000 scholarships to high school seniors about to enter their first year of college full-time in a pre-engineering, engineering, or engineering technology program leading to a bachelor's degree, in a course of study that traditionally prepares students for the HVAC&R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration) profession.

Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and/or class standing in the top 30%, and be accepted into a program at an institution that hosts an ASHRAE student branch or is accredited by ABET, PAHRA, or a Washington/Sydney Accord signatory agency.

Applications require an official transcript, a letter of admission, and three signed recommendation letters (one from an instructor or advisor, one from an employer, and one character reference). The annual application deadline is May 1.
