About this scholarship
New Hampshire high school seniors who are state residents and have been accepted into a four-year engineering program may apply for the ASCE New Hampshire High School Scholarship.
Up to four winners each receive $1,000 and may be paired with a civil engineering professional mentor during their first year of college.
Submit a completed application, transcript, letter of reference from a teacher or civil engineer, and a two-page maximum essay on the assigned civil engineering topic. Winners are selected based on complete materials and essay quality.

- Must be a resident of New Hampshire and a current senior at a NH high school
- Must have applied to and been accepted by a four-year engineering program
- Submit a copy of high school transcript
- One letter of reference from a teacher or a registered civil engineer (in a sealed, signed envelope)
- Completed application form
- Postmarked/emailed by April 30
- Essay format: maximum two pages, double-spaced, 12-point font, with name/address/email/high school and title on first page
- Essay must be double-spaced in 12-point font and include the student's name, address, email if available, high school, and title on the first page.
- Winners are selected based on complete materials and essay quality.
