About this scholarship
High school seniors or recent graduates accepted to an accredited college or university who plan to major in music and pursue careers as songwriters, musicians, instrumentalists, or vocalists may apply.
The ASCAP Foundation awards $10,000 paid over four years directly to your school toward tuition.
Complete the online application, upload an MP3 of your submitted song with a lyric sheet, and provide parental consent and photo ID if under 18.
The scholarship was established by legendary songwriters Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller to support the next generation of musical talent.
