Arthur Patch McKinlay Scholarship

American Classical League members (New, Purple, Gold, or Lifetime) pursuing professional development in Latin, Greek, or the ancient world may apply. Three consecutive years of membership are required, waived for undergraduate and graduate students and for new teachers with less than three years of experience. Prior ACL scholarship recipients may reapply every four years. Board of Governors members are ineligible.

Awards range from $250 to $2,000 (up to $2,000) for ACL Institute attendance, Teaching Materials and Resource Center purchases, Latin certification coursework, or bona fide summer study.

Apply via the ACL Google form by January 15 (round one) or March 15 (round two). Recipients submit a scholarship report and receipts by September 15 for reimbursement.
