Arthur M. & Berdena King Eagle Scout Award

Eagle Scouts registered in an active unit who have not reached their 19th birthday during the application year may enter the Arthur M. and Berdena King Eagle Scout Award competition through a local Sons of the American Revolution chapter.

National awards include $10,000 for first place, $6,000 for second, $4,000 for third, $500 each for fourth and fifth, and $200 each for sixth through tenth place.

Submit a two-page application, a four-generation ancestry chart, and a 500-word patriotic essay by January 30. The competition recognizes Eagle Scouts who demonstrate patriotic achievement and service.
