About this scholarship
Registered nurses enrolled in a Doctorate of Nursing program at a recognized university may apply. Applicants must hold a Master of Nursing degree, have made a significant contribution to the nursing profession, be a CRNNL member in good standing, be a member of the Trust, and not be a previous recipient of this scholarship.
One scholarship of $2,000 is awarded annually. Established by the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (formerly ARNNL) in recognition of its 50th anniversary.

- Proof of current enrolment in a graduate nursing program, including full-time or part-time status.
- Official transcript from the current program.
- Reference from a nursing faculty member in the current program.
- CRNNL registration number.
- Verification of Trust membership where required.
- CRNNL Registration Number (required)
- Social Insurance Number (for income tax purposes)
- Proof of enrolment in a Graduate Nursing Program (official letter from school of nursing confirming current enrolment and full-time/part-time status)
- One official transcript of grades from current program
- One reference from a nursing faculty member in current program (submitted via online reference form; thesis/clinical project supervisor reference preferred); applicant must give referee their CRNNL Re
- Verification of Trust membership (non-practicing CRNNL members only)
