AQHA James F. and Doris M. Barton Scholarship

Current AQHA or AQHYA members from New York who are also current members of the Empire State Youth Quarter Horse Association may apply during senior year of high school or while enrolled at an accredited college or university.

One recipient receives $5,000 toward a two- or four-year degree program. Recipients must maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

Apply through the AQHA Foundation scholarship portal by January 15.

The James F. and Doris M. Barton Scholarship supports New York quarter horse youth through the American Quarter Horse Foundation.
