About this scholarship
Undergraduate or graduate students with a declared major in education at an accredited U.S. college or university may apply. High school students and undeclared undergraduates are ineligible, as are employees, officers, and directors of NILRR, the National Right to Work Committee, and selection committee members and their families.
One $1,000 scholarship is awarded annually. Funds may be used at any accredited U.S. institution.
Submit the online application with a 500 to 700 word essay on Right to Work principles, a transcript or acceptance letter, and references. Winners must provide an official transcript when funds are disbursed. The award honors three Michigan teachers fired for refusing to pay union dues.
