About this scholarship
Asian/Pacific Islander heritage students enrolled in or accepted to a master's or doctoral program in library and information science at an ALA-accredited school (archives and related concentrations eligible) may apply. Applicants must be APALA members in good standing by the deadline and must not have received a prior APALA scholarship.
Two $2,000 awards are paid in $1,000 fall and spring installments after proof of enrollment. Full-time and part-time students are eligible.
Submit a resume/CV, transcripts, two recommendation letters, and a personal essay (500 words or less) on one of the posted prompts. Preference goes to applicants with strong financial need.
