About this scholarship

Women and minority (African American, Hispanic American, or Native American) U.S. citizens enrolled in a PAB-accredited planning program who intend to pursue public-sector planning careers and can demonstrate financial need may apply.

One award of $5,000 is offered. Submit your application through the APA Foundation scholarship portal by May 15.

The APA Judith McManus Price Scholarship supports students who will diversify the planning profession and practice as planners in the public sector.

  • Copy of acceptance letter from a PAB-accredited graduate planning school (incoming students only)
  • Notarized statement of financial independence signed by parent(s) (optional)
