Annie MacDonald Langstaff Prize

Awarded at Osgoode Hall Law School to a student in the Feminist Advocacy: Ending Violence Against Women clinical program who has demonstrated compassion, tenacity, curiosity, respect for others, and commitment to justice characteristic of outstanding feminist advocacy.

The award amount varies.

Established by Professor Mary Jane Mossman to honour Annie MacDonald Langstaff, a pioneer woman lawyer who used the courts to seek equality on the basis of gender, and to mark the fiftieth anniversary of 1941 Quebec legislation permitting women to become lawyers there.
