Annie Jump Cannon Award in Astronomy

North American female astronomers within five years of receiving a Ph.D. may be nominated for the Annie Jump Cannon Award in Astronomy (career suspensions for family or medical leave may be considered). Self-nominations are allowed. The award includes a $1,500 honorarium and an invited AAS talk with travel paid.

Nomination materials include a five-year research plan. The nomination deadline is June 30 annually. The award honors outstanding research and promise for future work.
