About this scholarship
Two full-time first-year Laurentian University students from Chapleau, Ontario, enrolled in any program. If no qualified Chapleau applicant applies, the award may go to a student from Northeastern Ontario. Recipients need at least an 80% average in six Ontario U/M secondary school courses, a broad range of interests and community involvement, and financial need. Renewable in later years with acceptable academic standing, and may be held with other university financial aid.
Each scholarship is $2,500. An application is required.
Established in 1998 in memory of Anne Crichton-George and her involvement in Chapleau.
