About this scholarship
African-American high school seniors in the Baltimore area with a cumulative GPA between 2.0 and 2.9 who plan to attend college, technical, or vocational school and demonstrate community commitment may apply.
Scholarships range up to $2,000 and may be used for books, fees, or tuition. Funds are sent directly to the institution in two equal parts during the fall and spring semesters.
Complete the online application and submit a transcript and two recommendation letters. Recipients must provide verification of enrollment and registration and are recognized at an annual event in June.
The Anna V. Waters Scholarship Fund supports African-American "C" students pursuing postsecondary education and celebrates their worth in the community.
