About this scholarship

UBC Vancouver MBA students who are (1) exchange students from Denmark, (2) UBC students going on exchange at a university in Denmark, or (3) Danish citizens completing their entire MBA at UBC may be considered for this award.

The award amount varies. Annual awards are funded through gifts from friends and family in memory of Ann-Britt Everett (1973-2019).

Recipients are recommended by the Robert H. Lee Graduate School. There is no separate student application.

Ann-Britt was born in Nykobing Falster, Denmark, and moved to Vancouver in 2001. She received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Business Administration and Commercial Law from the Copenhagen Business School and spent a semester abroad at UBC in the MBA program. She served as Honorary Consul for Denmark to British Columbia from 2015 to 2019. The award was established in recognition of her passion for connecting people, building cultural bridges, and supporting the Danish community in Vancouver.
