About this scholarship
U.S. high school seniors with demonstrated commitment to animal welfare through volunteer work or advocacy, and plans to pursue a career reducing animal suffering, may apply for Animal Welfare Institute scholarships.
Up to 12 recipients receive $3,000 each, plus a subscription to AWI Quarterly magazine.
Submit two letters of recommendation: one from a school staff member and one from someone familiar with your animal welfare efforts. Finalists may need to confirm college acceptance. A committee reviews advocacy track records and plans to continue protecting animals.
