Andrew Wade Memorial Award in Visual Analytics

For undergraduate students at UBC Vancouver who demonstrate interest and skill in Visual Analytics techniques and tools using real-world data from industry or academic partners.

Award amounts vary. Family, friends, and colleagues endowed the fund in memory of Andrew Wade, a 2003 UBC graduate from Denver who pursued visual analytics at SFU and applied the field in industry, including work on aircraft safety at Boeing.

Recipients are chosen on recommendation of the Head of the Cognitive Systems Program. There is no separate application.
