About this scholarship
U.S. citizens or permanent residents entering their freshman year of college with a minimum 3.0 GPA who plan to pursue a degree in atmospheric, oceanic, or hydrologic sciences may apply. Marine biology does not qualify.
The scholarship provides $2,500 per year for the freshman and sophomore years, contingent on successful completion of the first year.
Submit a completed application form, an official high school transcript covering the past three years, and one letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or personal reference.
