About this scholarship
AMS members with little or no institutional travel support may apply for Annual Meeting Travel Grants when the Society's annual meeting is held in person. Graduate students may apply if their home institution cannot provide sufficient support. Awards favor applicants who did not receive funding the prior year.
Grants are up to $350 for travel within North America and up to $500 from outside North America, awarded first-come, first-served. The grant does not waive meeting registration. Undergraduate and terminal master's students at U.S. or Canadian schools may also qualify for a supplemental $500 when meetings are in person.
When the annual meeting is online, travel grants are not offered.
