AMPP EMERG Student Outreach Scholarships

AMPP's EMERG Student Outreach program funds a wide variety of scholarships for students entering the corrosion and protective coatings industry, funded by AMPP, its chapters, and industry partners. Since 2005 the program has awarded over $1.9 million across 700+ scholarships. Students may apply for as many scholarships as they qualify for, up to a maximum of $10,000 per student per year.

Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a college or university. The scholarships funded directly by AMPP EMERG are open to undergraduates anywhere in the world studying science and engineering, while individual sponsored scholarships carry their own criteria; graduate students may apply for the AMPP Graduate Book Award. Applications require transcripts and professor recommendations through a single general application portal.

The application period runs September 1 to December 1 each year; the most recent cycle closed December 1, 2025.
