About this scholarship
College sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students enrolled at a fully accredited institution with at least a 2.0 GPA in coursework relevant to public transportation who demonstrate interest in a transit career may apply for American Public Transportation Foundation scholarships.
Scholarships range from $5,000 to $12,000 for the academic year and cover tuition or other educational expenses. More than 30 awards may be granted.
All applicants must be sponsored by a member organization of the American Public Transportation Association. Submit essays, recommendations, transcripts, and financial documentation by the June deadline.
APTF supports students and professionals pursuing careers in the public transportation industry.
