About this scholarship
Juniors or seniors with at least a 3.0 GPA majoring in agriculture with a floriculture career focus may apply for the American Florists' Exchange Scholarship. Eligible applicants attend a California college or are California residents studying at a U.S. college elsewhere. U.S. or Canadian citizens or legal residents may apply.
Scholarships range from $500 to $5,000 through the American Floral Endowment. The number of recipients varies.
Apply through the AFE online application, selecting up to six eligible scholarships. Submit two letters of recommendation, a resume, and transcripts from your most recent school.
The scholarship supports students connected to California's wholesale flower industry, rooted in the Los Angeles Flower Market established in 1921.
