Alvin and Kathleen Bothner Entrance Bursary in Science

For Canadian citizens or permanent residents entering first year in the University of Calgary Faculty of Science who demonstrate academic merit and financial need. Preference goes to graduates of a rural high school in Alberta or Saskatchewan.

One bursary of up to $1,600 is offered annually.

Apply through My UCalgary Portal under High School Awards. Mr. Alvin Bothner established the bursary in memory of his wife Kathleen, who devoted her career to education, with a matching grant from Faculty of Science alumni.
