Awards totalling $4,000 are made available annually through gifts from the Alphonsine Lafond Fund for Innovation and QuinnPartners Inc., in memory of Chief Alphonsine Lafond (1926-2000).

Recipients are selected on the recommendation of the UBC Sauder School of Business. There is no separate application.
