About this scholarship

Students with permanent residence in Boone, Ogle, Stephenson, or Winnebago County, Illinois, who intend to teach elementary or secondary school may apply. You must be at least a sophomore at a post-secondary institution. Graduate students and past recipients may reapply.

Award amounts vary.

Apply through the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois universal scholarship application, due February 1.

The Alpha Delta Kappa Xi chapter established this fund to support future educators in the region.
