About this scholarship

Students entering the Bachelor of Health Sciences Addictions Counselling degree program at the University of Lethbridge (40-course or post-diploma) who demonstrate financial need may apply. Three awards go to students of Indigenous ancestry, and one goes to a student returning to studies after at least one year away from secondary or post-secondary school. Indigenous recipients must complete an Indigenous Attestation Form.

The award totals $2,500, paid as $1,500 in the first year and $1,000 in the second year if the student continues in the program. Payment requires confirmation of full-time enrolment in the Fall and/or Fall and Winter terms following the award.
