Eligibility
About this scholarship
Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons who are Alberta residents may apply for full-time master's (or equivalent) study in music, drama, dance, or literacy/visual arts at an Alberta institution or elsewhere. Visa students are not eligible. Alberta residency requires that a parent or legal guardian maintained permanent residence in Canada for at least 12 consecutive months immediately before the student began post-secondary study, or that the student's spouse or partner is an Alberta resident.
Up to seven awards of $15,000 each are available. Applicants must be enrolled full-time for both fall and winter terms in the graduate program. Apply using the Arts Graduate Scholarships application form (applications typically open August 1).
The scholarship recognizes Alberta students with outstanding ability in the arts who pursue graduate study.
