Current first- or second-year law students with ties to Alaska and intent to return to Alaska within two years of graduation may apply for Alaska Bar Association law school scholarships.

Award amounts and the number of recipients vary depending on the available scholarship fund balance.

Submit a personal statement of up to 1,500 words discussing your Alaska ties, intent to return, career goals, and reason for applying, along with a resume, transcript, and complete application packet by the deadline.

The Alaska Bar Association funds these awards to support law students committed to practicing in the state.
