About this scholarship

Full-time juniors, seniors, or graduate students at an accredited four-year college or university in Northern California (including San Luis Obispo, Fresno, and north) who are studying lighting education or research in fields such as architecture, engineering, interior design, or lighting design may apply.

Scholarships are at least $1,500 and may reach up to $5,000.

Submit an application with a statement of purpose, a description of work in progress, transcripts, and recommendation letters by April 30.

The Alan Lucas Educational Scholarships are administered by the Illuminating Engineering Society San Francisco Section.
