Alan Bauer Memorial Prize in Mining Engineering

Fourth-year graduating Mining Engineering students at Queen's University are eligible for these prizes tied to the thesis presentation component of course MINE 434.

Two annual prizes with varying amounts are awarded on the recommendation of the Head of the Robert M. Buchan Department of Mining, based on technical content and presentation skills. No application is required.

The fund was established by friends, colleagues, and students of Alan Bauer, former Head of the Department of Mining Engineering.
