About this scholarship
Young women who are bona fide Alabama residents with an interest in golf and financial need may apply for the Alabama Golf Association Women's Scholarship Fund, administered through the Alabama Golf Foundation. Recipients must attend an accredited college or university full time (at least 12 credit hours per semester) and remain Alabama residents through graduation.
One scholarship is awarded annually with an amount that varies by year and available fund balance.
Recipients must maintain a C+ GPA (2.4) their freshman year and a B- GPA (2.8) thereafter, and submit grades to the AGA Director of Women's Golf each term. Changes in school, address, or enrollment status must be reported promptly.
The fund supports Alabama women pursuing higher education who have a connection to the game of golf.
