About this scholarship
Library support staff members who are U.S. or Canadian citizens or permanent residents and are pursuing an MLS in an ALA-accredited program may apply for the ALA Tom and Roberta Drewes Scholarship. Applicants must not have completed more than 12 semester hours or one-third of required semester hours toward the degree before June 1 of the award year.
Recipients receive $3,000 annually. The number of awards varies.
Submit a complete application through the ALA Scholarship Clearinghouse by the deadline.
The scholarship supports library paraprofessionals advancing to professional librarianship through graduate education.
