About this scholarship
Students planning a career in library and information technology who have not earned more than 12 credit hours toward a Master of Library Science degree from an ALA-accredited MLS program may apply.
The joint Library and Information Technology Association and Baker & Taylor award provides $3,000 annually.
Submit a statement of library experience, letters of reference, and a personal statement on what you bring to library technology, emphasizing leadership potential.
The scholarship, established in 1999, honors Christian (Chris) Larew and encourages qualified entrants into the field.
