About this scholarship

U.S. or Canadian citizens or permanent residents pursuing a Master of Library Science in an ALA-accredited program may apply for the Christopher J. Hoy Scholarship, funded by the Exhibits Round Table. Applicants must have no more than 12 semester hours toward the MLS, MLIS, or MIS completed before June 1 of the award year.

Recipients receive $5,000 annually. The number of awards varies.

The scholarship honors Christopher J. Hoy, who served over 20 years as director of the ALA Conference Services Office.
