About this scholarship
Graduate students at a four-year college or university pursuing a master's or doctorate in animal science, meat science, food science, microbiology, nutrition, or public health may apply for the NAMI Scholarship Foundation's Al Piccetti Memorial Scholarship. Applicants need at least a 2.75 GPA and career plans directed toward the meat industry, preferably in post-harvest production.
One recipient receives $5,000.
Submit a 300 to 350 word essay on career goals related to meat food production, an official transcript, and a faculty recommendation through the online portal by the deadline.
The scholarship honors Al Piccetti and supports graduate research in meat and food science.
