About this scholarship

Children of medically retired, long-term disabled, or deceased Air Line Pilots Association pilot members may apply for ALPA scholarships. Applicants must pursue a bachelor's degree program; currently enrolled college students are eligible, though high school applicants should preferably apply after the first semester of senior year.

Two awards are given annually: one four-year scholarship disbursed at $15,000 per year (requiring a 3.0 GPA to renew) and one single-year scholarship of $10,000.

Submit the application, financial statement, school report, and academic records by the deadline. College enrollees must also provide college transcripts to date.

ALPA's scholarship program supports the families of pilots who can no longer fly due to medical retirement, disability, or death.
