About this scholarship

U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are AICPA Student Affiliate members, identify as racial or ethnic minorities, and are enrolled full time in an accounting or accounting-related undergraduate or graduate program may apply for the AICPA Scholarship for Minority Accounting Students. Applicants need at least a 3.0 GPA, at least 30 completed semester hours including 6 in accounting, and must demonstrate financial need.

Fifty awards ranging from $3,000 to $10,000 are available for students pursuing CPA licensure.

Apply through the AICPA Foundation Legacy Scholarships portal. Selected scholars receive funds for college plus professional development opportunities.

The AICPA awards outstanding minority students to encourage accounting as a major and entry into the profession.
