About this scholarship

High-achieving Bay Area high school seniors in San Francisco, Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Napa, Sonoma, or Solano counties who have lost a biological, adoptive, step, or legal guardian parent and are accepted to a four-year college may apply for the Agrawal Fellowship for Resilient Scholars.

Five fellows are selected for a cohort program that includes a $10,000 annual tuition scholarship plus academic, wellness, and social support. Applicants need at least a 2.5 GPA and must be willing to participate actively in fellowship programming.

Submit the fellowship application by the deadline, along with materials demonstrating academic commitment, resilience, and community involvement. Interviews may be required.

The fellowship was created to support students navigating college during the loss of a parent or guardian.
