About this scholarship

High school seniors entering college who pursue fine or performing arts may apply for the AGL Over the Rainbow Scholarship, also known as the Blooming Artist Award.

Each recipient receives $1,000 toward their education. The number of awards varies.

Submit a short video or performance sample (up to three minutes), a resume of your artistic background, up to three reference letters from teachers or mentors, and college acceptance documentation or a list of schools applied to.

The award is sponsored by Ronald and Patti Loveless through the AGL Over the Rainbow Foundation and recognizes students who show dedication to their craft and community.
