About this scholarship

Active-duty U.S. military personnel and honorably discharged veterans, including Reservists and National Guard members who deployed abroad in support of an Overseas Contingency Operation, who are enrolled part time or full time in an undergraduate STEM degree at an accredited four-year U.S. college may apply for AFCEA War Veterans Scholarships. Merit awards are $2,500; the number of scholarships varies.

Applicants must be U.S. citizen sophomores or juniors with a 3.0+ GPA majoring in C4I-related STEM fields such as computer science, cybersecurity, or telecommunications engineering. Submit deployment documentation (DD214 or Certificate of Service) with the application. Funds apply to tuition and required course expenses only.

The AFCEA Educational Foundation, in collaboration with AFCEA NOVA, supports veterans and service members pursuing STEM degrees.
