About this scholarship
The AFCEA Educational Foundation awards competitive $2,500 scholarships to graduate students who are actively pursuing a degree, credential, or licensure in order to teach science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) subjects in U.S. K-12 schools. One additional $2,500 award, the MG Eugene C. Renzi, USA (Ret.) STEM Teachers Scholarship, is presented to an outstanding applicant from the same pool each year.
Scholarship funds may be used only for tuition and required course-related expenses, including fees, books, supplies, and equipment necessary for coursework. The program is funded through support from ManTech International and AFCEA International, and awards are subject to the availability of funds.
Applications and supporting documentation are submitted electronically, with mailed official documents accepted as a fallback; the 2026 deadline was May 1, 2026, and applications for the cycle are now closed.
